12月1日(木)、ルネ・ブティックの記者発表を行いました。

欧米でも、大きなマーケットになりつつある
“KAWAII”という文化の始祖である内藤ルネが残した多くのアーカイヴを
増田セバスチャンというシャーマンを通じて、
現代に甦らせるという試みは非常に刺激的な取り組みになりそうです。
今回、スーパーバイザーとして参加させていただいたこのプロジェクトが
今後、どのような成長をしていくのか、今から楽しみです。

Rune Boutique

We had a press conference of Rune Boutique on December 1st.
As it was also broad-casted on Nico Nico Douga,
some of you might have checked it live.

“KAWAII” culture is starting to grow as a big market in Europe and the United States.
Rune Naito, who is the father of “Kawaii” culture, had left a lot of archives
which Masuda Sebastian revived and brought back into modern times.
This is going to be an extremely exciting project.
I am joining the project as a supervisor and excited to see how it is going to grow.

As a sneak preview of the project, we are releasing commemorative T-shirt
featuring Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, who is one of the brand model.
We are taking its orders right now at Nico Nico Douga so
please don’t miss our first memorial product.

友人のアイデスの中井さんプロデュースのお店
『ポルトーノ』が浅草雷門そばにオープンしました。
美味しいワインと本格的なピッツァとパスタを食べさせてくれるお店です。
初めて、このお店のプランを聞いたのは約2年前、
そこからじっくりと構想を練り上げて
ワインセラー、照明、壁面材、タイルに至るまで
全てイタリアからインポートしたという超こだわりのお店であります。
ピザを焼く窯はイタリアからの直輸入で数百万円もするそうで
こだわりのピッツァとパスタは、これまでに食べたどのお店よりも美味しかったです。
お値段もとてもリーズナブルなので

Portuono, an Italian restaurant produced by my friend Mr. Nakai from Ides,
just opened near Asakusa Kaminarimon.
You can enjoy good glass of wine and authentic pizza and pasta.
It was two years ago when I first heard about the plan.
He has worked out a plot and imported wine cellar, lamps,
wall materials, and tiles all from Italy.
The kiln where they bake the pizza was also imported from Italy
which cost several million yen.
The pizza and pasta was the most delicious one I’ve ever had.
Prices are reasonable so please drop by and try their cuisine
when you’re close around.

多くの話題作、名作を手掛けている本広克行監督が遊びに来てくれました。
本広監督が生まれて初めて自分のお金で買ったシングル盤は渡辺真知子さんの『迷い道』
多分、私も5番目くらいに『迷い道』を買っています。(笑)

Artist of BWWT2/Mr. Katsuyuki Motohiro

Mr. Katsuyuki Motohiro, movie director who is famous for smash hit movies such as
“ODORU DAISOUSASEN”, “UDON”, “SHOULIN GIRL”
and “Summer Time Machine Blues”,
came to visit our office.
The first single record that Mr. Motohiro bought with his own money was
Machiko Watanabe’s “Mayoi-michi (Lost Road)”.
I also bought “Mayoi-michi (Lost Road)”. too
and it’s probably the fifth single I bought. :）

女優、戸田恵子さんとダンサーの植木豪さんの
お二人で手掛けているオリジナルブランド「B・G」は
決して女優やダンサーの余技ではなく、
この人たちの表現の幅が尋常ではないのだと実感させられます。

最新号のVOGUEでの特集と、タイポグラフィを使った
ハイセンスなクリエイター、ハウスインダストリーズのアンディさん。
当社の15周年記念ロゴや、BE@RBRICKの10周年記念ロゴも
彼らのデザインによるものです。

今回はご家族皆さんで当社に遊びに来てくれました。

Andy from House Industries, who is a high-sense creator using typography
and is famous for his collaboration with Herman Miller, Eames, and Ed Roth.
He has also been featured on the latest edition of VOGUE.
Our company’s 15th anniversary logo and
BE@RBRICK’s 10th anniversary logo was designed from them.

He stopped by our office with his family.
We are looking forward to do a lot of things together next year.

お呼ばれしてお邪魔してきました。
玉木さんとは初対面だったのですが、
全然そんな事は感じさせない気さくなお人柄で

I was invited to Mr. Hiroshi Tamaki’s radio program,
BAY-FM Hiroshi Tamaki [Naked].
It was our first meet but it really didn’t feel like it
since he had a very frank personality.
Because of that, I was able to speak relaxed until the end of the program.
