『MEDICOM TOY EXHIBITION ʼ25』会場レポート
7月26日(土)～ 7月31日(木) までの6日間にわたって開催された
『MEDICOM TOY EXHIBITION ʼ25』が先日無事に閉幕いたしました。
連日大変多くのお客様にお越しいただきました。
誠にありがとうございました！
今回のテーマは「もし、100年前にメディコム・トイがあったら 」。
今年6月に設立29周年を迎え、一年後に迫った大きな節目を前に、新たな個性が芽吹いていた激動の時代に、敢えて時を巻き戻しました。
今回のエキシビションは、そんな時空を超えた“if”の世界線をテーマに展開されました。
本ブログでは、会場にお越しになれなかった方にも会場の雰囲気を
味わっていただければと思い、 アフターレポートとしてお届けいたします。
会場入口は関係者様から頂戴したお祝い花で鮮やかに彩られました。
本年もたくさんの取引先様やアーティスト様よりお花を頂戴し、誠にありがとうございました。
会場入口では逆回転する大きな時計、そして、今回のエキシビションのプロローグと、ステンドグラス風に彩られたメディコム・トイのロゴが皆様をお出迎えいたしました。皆様を100年前の世界にお連れする入口です。
扉を開け、足を踏み入れると正面には大迫力のBE@RBRICK 3000％がお迎え！
各ブースは、大正時代をモチーフにしたステンドグラスや柄で彩られ、通路にはガス灯や大正時代の柄をモチーフにしたBE@RBRICK 1000％を設置し、100年前の世界観を表現しました。
NEWアイテムエリアでは、 BE@RBRICKやMAFEX®、UDF、ソフビを中心に、
発売中の新作アイテムやEXHIBITIONでお披露目となるアイテム約900点が展示されました！
まずご紹介するのはMAFEX、UDF、VCD、スタチュー、VAGが展示されたコーナー。
初出し情報も多数あり、発売を待ち切れないお客様の声が多く聞かれました。
続いてご紹介するのはソフビコーナー。東映レトロソフビコレクションやASM、MATなどの人気シリーズのソフビやアーティストが手掛けるオリジナルソフビも一堂に会し、圧巻の展示となりました。
次にご紹介するのは、BE@RBRICKコーナー。おなじみのシリーズの新作やアーティストとのコラボレーション、日本初披露のアイテムなど、多種多様なBE@RBRICKがずらりと並びます！
会場中央のBE@RBRICK 1000％コーナーでは、アート作品やブランド人気キャラクターとコラボレーションしたBE@RBRICK 1000％が30体以上展示されました！
MEDICOM TOY LIFE Entertainment コーナーでは FABRICK® や Amplifier、CERAMICK の 新作も多数展示。
最後にご紹介するのは、例年恒例のアーカイヴ特別展示。今年のテーマは「カリモク」。20年以上に及び生み出してきたコラボレーションアイテムから、カリモクの技術が光る逸品の数々を展示しました。
会場で商品をご購入いただいたお客様を対象としたアトラクションコーナーには、めんこ・わなげ・けん玉と、懐かしい遊びが登場！成功したお客様からは歓声が上がっていました。
ショップコーナーにはBE@RBRICKやソフビ、アパレルなど、メディコム・トイを凝縮した商品が並びます。
そして会場の奥に進むと、頭上には長さ6ｍの飛行船やアドバルーンが堂々と浮遊しています。
よく見ると飛行船にはBE@RBRICK、NY@BRICK、R@BBRICKの姿が！
飛行船バルーンの下には恒例の「終日フラワー」によるフラワーワゴンが登場。今年のテーマ「もし、100年前にメディコム・トイがあったら 」をイメージした花々が会場を彩りました。
今年のフォトスポットには巨大な時計台が設置され、連日多くのお客様に写真を撮っていただきました。
開催前日に行われた関係者向けのレセプションではレトロ喫茶をイメージした
「GARLAND」による、豪華なケータリングが並びました！
初の試みとして、イベントに合わせて7月26日(土)～7月31日(木)の6日間、表参道交差点の大型ビジョン「OMOSANシンクロ」にて『MEDICOM TOY EXHIBITION ’25』の開催を記念したスペシャルムービーを放映いたしました。「もし、100年前にメディコム・トイがあったら」という今年の開催テーマを表現し、L字型ビジョンの特性を生かした肉眼3D演出で、まるで画面から飛び出すかのような迫力満点のムービーが放映されました。
会場でも放映され、たくさんのお客様にご撮影いただけるほどご好評いただきました。
連日多くのお客様にお越しいただきました。
毎年恒例の開催記念商品も充実のラインナップ！
BE@RBRICKやソフビに加え、開催記念商品として初めてラインナップされたMAFEXや、待望のお声も多かったブリスターボードなど、過去最多のラインナップを取り揃えました。
今年も「BE@RBRICK 募金」を実施させていただきました。
皆様からのご支援とご協力に、心より御礼申し上げます。

国内外の野生生物・自然を守るための支援として、

The report of MEDICOM TOY EXHIBITION ’25
MEDICOM TOY EXHIBITION ’25, held over six days from Saturday, July 26 to Thursday, July 31, successfully came to a close.
We were truly honored to welcome an overwhelming number of visitors each day—thank you all so much for your continued support!
This year’s theme was:
“What if MEDICOM TOY had existed 100 years ago?”
As we celebrated our 29th anniversary this June, we chose to rewind time to a dynamic era where new expressions of individuality were
beginning to flourish—one year ahead of our major milestone. This exhibition explored an alternate timeline that transcends time and space.
For those who were unable to attend in person, we hope this blog serves as an after-report, allowing you to experience the atmosphere of the event.
The venue’s entrance was vibrantly decorated with floral arrangements kindly sent by our partners and collaborators.
We extend our heartfelt thanks for the many beautiful flowers we received again this year.
Greeting visitors at the entrance were a large counterclockwise-turning clock, the exhibition’s prologue,
and a stained-glass-style MEDICOM TOY logo—all inviting you into the world of 100 years ago.
As you stepped inside, a spectacular BE@RBRICK 3000% display stood tall to welcome you.
Each booth featured stained glass and patterns inspired by Japan’s Taisho Era,
while the aisles were lined with BE@RBRICK 1000% figures modeled after gas lamps and motifs from the same era, bringing the world of a century ago vividly to life.
In the New Items Area, approximately 900 items were showcased—including BE@RBRICK, MAFEX®, UDF, and sofubi figures—ranging from the latest releases to exclusive debuts unveiled at the exhibition.
The first section featured MAFEX, UDF, VCD, statues, and VAG figures.
There was an abundance of new reveals, and we heard many enthusiastic voices eager for the upcoming releases.
Next was the sofubi section, showcasing popular series like Toei Retro sofubi collection, ASM,
and MAT, alongside artist-created original sofubi—all gathered in one awe-inspiring display.
Following that was the BE@RBRICK section, with new releases from classic series, collaborations with artists,
and Japan-first unveilings—an extensive and colorful lineup of BE@RBRICK figures.
At the center of the venue, the BE@RBRICK 1000% Gallery showcased over 30 giant BE@RBRICKs in collaboration with renowned artists and popular brands.
In the MEDICOM TOY LIFE Entertainment area, many new items from FABRICK®, Amplifier, and CERAMICK were also on display.
The Special Archive Exhibit, a popular annual feature, returned with the theme “Karimoku” this year.
This area highlighted exquisite collaborative pieces that reflect over two decades of craftsmanship between MEDICOM TOY and Karimoku.
The Attraction Corner, exclusive to customers who made purchases at the venue,
featured nostalgic games like menko, ring toss, and kendama—drawing cheers from visitors who completed the challenges.
The Shop Area was packed with a wide variety of MEDICOM TOY products, including BE@RBRICKs, sofubi, and apparel.
Toward the back of the venue, a massive 6-meter-long airship and advertising balloons floated above.
If you looked closely, you could spot characters like BE@RBRICK, NY@BRICK, and R@BBRICK aboard the airship.
Below the floating balloon was the signature Flower Wagon by Shujitsu Flower,
decorated with floral arrangements inspired by this year’s theme, “What if MEDICOM TOY had existed 100 years ago?”
A giant clock tower photo spot was also installed, where many guests captured memorable photos throughout the event.
At the pre-opening reception for partners and guests, a luxurious catering spread by GARLAND, designed to resemble a retro café, was beautifully presented.
For the first time ever, a special commemorative movie was broadcast from July 26 to July 31 on the OMOSAN Synchro, a large L-shaped screen at the Omotesando intersection.
The movie vividly expressed this year’s theme with eye-catching naked-eye 3D effects, creating the illusion that the visuals were jumping out of the screen.
It was also screened at the exhibition venue and became a popular photo and video attraction among attendees.
We were deeply grateful for the tremendous turnout each day.
This year’s exclusive commemorative merchandise lineup was the most extensive yet!
In addition to BE@RBRICKs and sofubi figures, MAFEX made its debut in the commemorative product series,
along with the highly requested blister boards—marking a record number of commemorative items.
We also held the annual “BE@RBRICK Donation” initiative again this year.
We sincerely thank everyone for their generous support.
The total amount raised—¥263,616—was donated on Tuesday, August 5 to WWF Japan,
a general incorporated foundation supporting the protection of wildlife and nature both in Japan and abroad.
