先日、我が社スタッフの結婚式があり
静岡県の伊東市に行ってきました。
設立から丸15年、多くのスタッフが結婚していますが
この2人にも幸多からんことを、心から祈る想いでした。
とても暖かな結婚式、とても綺麗でしたよ。
手作りで和装されたベアブリックも可愛かった。
どうか末永くお幸せに!

Our staff’s wedding

I went to Ito in Shizuoka for one of our staff’s wedding.
During 15 years of the company’s history,
many of our staff got married, and this time again,
I truly wish the couple a lot of happiness from bottom of my heart.
The wedding was very heart‐warming and they were so beautiful.
The hand-made BE@RBRICK in Japanese Kimono style was cute as well.
May you both have long and happy lives!

敬愛するデンボクの狩野さんと久しぶりの打ち合わせ。
浜松町で開催されたワールドキャラクターコンベンションで
キカイダーイースターの展示をご協力いただいたのが最初なので、
かれこれ17〜18年の御付き合いになります。

今回、来年始動予定のニュープロジェクトにご参画いただくべく
企画のブレストを行いましたが、狩野さんの尋常ではない
造詣の深さに頭がクラクラしてしまいました。
お披露目は少し先になりますが、楽しみにしていてください。

DENBOKU

I had a meeting with Mr. Karino from DENBOKU whom I highly respect.
It’s been a long time since our last meeting.
World Character Convention held in Hamamatsu-cho was our first meeting
when supported us to display KIKAIDER EASTER which was 17 to 18 years ago.

We met and brainstormed our new project starting next year.
I was totally overwhelmed by  Mr. Karino’s extremely high detailed knowledge.
The unveiling will be in a while but please look forward for it.

ゲスト出演することになりました。

色々とお話しできればと思います。

I will be guest broadcast on Mr. Hiroshi Tamaki’s radio program,

現在、伊勢丹で大好評開催中のWHITE WONDER CHARISMAS。
そのデザイナーであるクラウス・ハーパニエミさんと初顔合わせをしました。
この3年間、クリスマスが近づくと、新宿伊勢丹のショーウィンドーを彩る
幻想的な動物たちを描き、そのアートディレクションを手掛けていらっしゃる方です。
とても気さくなお人柄で、これから先も新しいお取組みができそうで
今から楽しみです。

Mr. Klaus Haapaniemi

WHITE WONDER CHRISTMAS is a popular campaign now being held at ISETAN and
I met Mr. Klaus Haapaniemi who is the designer of the project.
He has designed and is in charge of the art direction of the illusionary animals
which has decorated the show windows of ISETAN for the last three years around Christmas.
He had a very frank personality and we are excited for our future project.

There was a reception party to introduce
aesthetic and stylish furnitures made by the collaboration between
House Industries and Herman Miller.

Mr. Andy Cruz, the art director of House Industries,
came to Japan for the event!
House Industries designed our company’s 15th anniversary
and BE@RBRICK’s 10th anniversary logo.
We released many special items which has the two logos printed this year.
I hope to continuously work with them on various items!

トイズマッコイ岡本さんの粋なはからいで
美味しい肉を食べる会が開催されました。

参加者は、岡本さんに加え、
いつものメンバーであるタカラトミー沢田さん、空山基さん、
アイデスの中井さんに、チームメディコム・トイ、
今回初参加のPSP中野さん、
そして美味しい肉をご提供いただいた
ダチョウ倶楽部の寺門ジモンさんです。

ジモンさんの横に座ったこともあって
あれこれと食に関する楽しいお話を聞かせていただきました。
グルメの道も求道的なんだなぁと実感。
楽しい一夜でありました。

Gourmand

Kindly arranged by Mr. Okamoto of TOYS McCoy,
we had an opportunity to enjoy exquisite meat.

In addition to our regular attendees;
Mr. Okamoto, Mr. Sawada of TAKARA TOMY, Mr. Hajime Sorayama,
Mr. Nakai of Ides, and team MEDICOM TOY,
we had Mr. Nakano of PSP as his first participation,
as well as Mr. Jimon Terakado of Dacho-Club,
who had arranged the delicious meat for the gathering.
As I seated next to Mr. Jimon, I could listen to his interesting stories about food,
which made me thought that the road to gourmet is also based on seeking after truth.
It was very fun night.
