興奮と熱狂のうちに幕を閉じた『BE@RBRICK WORLD WIDE TOUR 3』。

全高約70cmの1000% BE@RBRICKをキャンバスにした創造性溢れる作品の数々が

“BE@RBRICK WORLD WIDE TOUR 3 in Hong Kong” will be holding!

In December 2021, “BE@RBRICK WORLD WIDE TOUR 3” was held in Shibuya, Tokyo,
the birthplace of BE@RBRICK, and ended successfully with the excitement
and enthusiasm.

The next venue has finally been decided for the tour that will go cities
around the world with many creative works using BE@RBRICK 1000% with
a height of 70 cm as a canvas!

About 100 BE@RBRICKs will fly out of Japan, and their first destination
will be Hong Kong, one of the most vibrant art center in Asia.

“BE@RBRICK WORLD WIDE TOUR 3 in Hong Kong”
welcomes 4 new creators. And it will be
held from March 21st(Tue) to May 10th(Wed), 2023 for about 2 months
in partnership with Forward Fashion as the opening event
of the multifaceted art space “Artelli (Hong Kong)”
that they  will establish.

MEDICOM TOY will have the “AKASHIC RECORDS 3.5” booth
at “Art Fair Tokyo 2023” which will be held at the Tokyo International Forum
from March 10th(Fri) to 12th(Sun).

“AKASHIC RECORDS” is curated by MEDICOM TOY’s CEO Tatsuhiko Akashi.
It is a project that exhibits and sells works by artists, brands, and contents
that carefully selected from all over the world.

Since the Halloween season of 2020 as the most experimental artistic event
in the history of MEDICOM TOY, it have had 3 successful pop-up event so far,
and created countless chemical reactions with toys, art and fashion.

Participating in “Art Fair Tokyo” for the second time, the size of the booth
and the number of works will be greatly expanded!
In the booth, we will sell the event
commemorative products including 3 new BE@RBRICKs
that symbolize “AKASHIC RECORDS”.

It has been a year since the last “AKASHIC RECORDS 2.5”,
which was our first exhibition at “Art Fair Tokyo”.
By installing an excitement of the turbulent art market and continuing

In 2022, “MEDICOM TOY PLUS” was relocated and renewal opened in February,
and “MEDICOM TOY PLUS NAGOYA” was opened in April, making it the first store

気がつくと私たちは世界の分岐点のような時代に立っていました。
色々な出来事が頻発する中で、この先の未来に対し、
どんなフラグを立てるべきか賢者も学者も
考えあぐねているような時代のように感じます。
今回のAKASHIC RECORDS 3はその不確かな時代を映すような
鏡のような空間を作りたいと考えました。
 
今回は出来る限り簡便に皆さんに会場をご覧頂きたく、

I think now we are standing in an era like a crossroads of the world.
When various events occur frequently, I feel that both sages and scholars
are struggling to think about what flag to set for the future ahead.
AKASHIC RECORDS 3 was designed to create a mirror-like space that reflects
that uncertain era.
This time, we made the admission free so that more people can see the show
and the exhibited works.
The exhibited art pieces were well received, and many of them will be carried
around the world.
In addition, for those of you who were unable to come to the show,
we will be selling some of the items from mid-November at our official stores
and MCT TOKYO.
The next AKASHIC RECORDS will be held in March 2023 at the Tokyo International Forum.
There are also requests from other countries to hold the show,
so there may be simultaneous show in several countries.

常に世界から注目を集めるトイとアートを発信するメディコム・トイは、
10/22(土)～31(月)の間、『AKASHIC RECORDS 3 ~ from Illuminati ~
(アカシック レコーズ 3 ～フロム イルミナティ～ ) 』を開催いたします。
『AKASHIC RECORDS』は、メディコム・トイ 代表である赤司竜彦自らが
キュレーションを行い、世界中から厳選したアーティストやブランド、
コンテンツの作品を一堂に展示・販売するプロジェクトです。
メディコム・トイ史上最も実験的でアーティスティックなイベントとして
2020年のハロウィンシーズンに誕生して以来、これまでに2度のポップアップを
成功させ、今年3月には『アートフェア東京』への初出展を果たしました。
3年連続・3度目のポップアップ開催となる今回は、
会場を表参道ヒルズ 本館地下3階「スペース オー」へ移し、大幅にスケールアップ。
壮大な空間の中で、過去最多となる100点以上のアイテムを出展予定です。

“from Illuminati”という謎めいたサブタイトル。そこに秘められた真意とは。

トイとアート、伝統と革新、真実と空想がかつてないスケールで繚乱する会場内で
akashic records (=世界記憶)にアクセスし、その真相をお確かめください！

Announcement of AKASHIC RECORDS 3 from Illuminati 

MEDICOM TOY, transmitting the toys and art that always attract attention
from around the world, will hold “AKASHIC RECORDS 3 ~ from Illuminati ~
from October 22nd (Sat) to 31st (Mon).

“AKASHIC RECORDS” is curated by MEDICOM TOY’s CEO Tatsuhiko Akashi,
and exhibit and sell works by artists, brands, and contents that carefully selected
from all over the world.

Since the Halloween season of 2020 as the most experimental artistic event
in the history of MEDICOM TOY, it have had two successful pop-ups so far,
and March of this year we exhibited for the first time at “Art Fair Tokyo”.

This time, the pop-up will be held for the third time in three consecutive years,
and the venue will be moved to the Omotesando Hills main building B3 floor
“Space O” and will be greatly scaled up.
More than 100 items, the largest number ever, will be exhibited
in a magnificent space.

The cryptic subtitle “From the Illuminati”. What is the real meaning behind it?

Please access akashic records (= memory of the world) in the venue
where toys and art, tradition and innovation, truth and fantasy
are on an unprecedented scale, and find out the truth!

Venue sales products:
The products that will be sold at the venue cash register during the exhibition period.
To prevent a disturbance at venue, a lottery will be held in advance for each time zone
on this Blog, and sales will be limited to those who win.
Winners will be able to visit the venue at the designated time during the exhibition
and purchase at the venue cash register.
