生前、新井茂が切望していた事の一つに自身の単独イベントがあった。
開催場所は新井氏が自ら足を運び、設計にも参画していたギャラリー。
同地で一周忌の命日を含む三日間、NAGNAGNAG/新井茂の世界を展開する。

　こちらの超時空カラーを施したザンジンガンはNAGNAGNAG/新井茂が
　生前最後に確認した作品となる。その発売は関係者の中で切望されていた。

　大人気！グラスライザーの最新モデル。
　軍用を彷彿とさせる色彩が重機体特有の凄みに拍車を掛ける、
　まさに他の追随を許さないロボットソフビの決定版。

【オークション作品について】
・入札は11月2日(土)12:00よりイベント会場とNew Art GuildのInstagramにてご案内する
　入札フォームにて受付いたします。
・入札受付期間は11月2日(土)12:00～11月4日(月・祝)14:30までとなります。
・入札には、イベントへのご来場有無にかかわらず、
　どなたでもご参加いただけます。
・入札後のキャンセルはお受けできません。必ず事前に注意事項をご確認の上、

　(NAGNAGNAG塗装／ワンオフ／New Art Guild チタニウム製ギャランティカード付属 ※鑑定保証品)
　ザンジンガンのボックスアートでも使用されているNAGNAGNAG/新井茂塗装のワンオフ品。
　本作品の売上金の全てはNAGNAGNAG/新井茂の制作を承継していく為の
　資金としてNew Art Guildにて管理・運用される。

●ザンジンガン(破壊神Ver.／ワンオフ)
　超時空Ver.の製作が決定される前段階で決定が出された、いわば幻のプロトタイプ仕様。
　今回、NAGNAGNAG初のEXHIBITIONを記念して、2016年にNAGNAGNAG/新井茂に
　よってワンオフ制作された人造人間カラーへのアンサーとして
　ゴローがワンオフ制作した作品。

NAGNAGNAG 1st EXHIBITION [-New Art Guild-]

One of Shigeru Arai’s deepest wishes during his lifetime was to hold a solo event.
This event will take place in the gallery that Arai himself visited and helped design.
Over the course of three days, including the anniversary of his passing,
the world of NAGNAGNAG/Shigeru Arai will be showcased.
The exhibition will feature an archive display of his works, raffle sales of
collaborative pieces produced with MEDICOM TOY and GORO, and an
authentication service for NAGNAGNAG pieces.

[Important Notes for the Day of Admission]
– Please arrive at the venue entrance at least 10 minutes before your allotted time slot. *Please be punctual. 
– Present the “Entry Permission DM” screen or a printed version of the DM,
  along with a photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.).
– Entry outside of your designated time slot is not permitted. 
– Only the person who has been granted the entry slot will be allowed to enter.
  Family members or companions are not permitted.  
– Substitutes for lotteries, queueing, or purchasing are not allowed.  
– Please refrain from entering if you have a fever or are feeling unwell.

[About the Raffle Sale Items]
– Only event attendees can apply for the raffle.  
– Prices and details will be announced at the venue.  
– If you win, payment and item pickup will take place on Monday, November 4th,
  between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Please apply for the raffle only if you can come to
  the venue at the specified time.
– Payment method: Cash only.  
– If you cannot pick up your item during the designated time, your win will be invalidated,
  and the next runner-up will be selected.

[Raffle Drawing & Payment Schedule]
– Raffle winners for each day will be announced by 9:00 PM on the day of the event
  (or by 3:30 PM on November 4th). All winners must come to the venue between 4:00 PM
  and 5:00 PM on November 4th for payment and pickup.

●ZANZINGAN (Super Dimension Ver.)  
There are still many unfinished works left behind by NAGNAGNAG/Shigeru Arai,
which are now being produced by New Art Guild. Among these, the Zanjingan,
finished with a hyperdimensional color scheme, was the last work that Shigeru Arai
personally approved before his passing. The release of this piece
has been eagerly anticipated by those involved. 

●GLASSRAIZER (Armored Trooper Ver.) 
The latest model of the popular Glasrizer! Its military-inspired color scheme enhances
the powerful presence unique to this heavily armed mecha, making it the definitive
soft vinyl robot figure. 

[Regarding Auction Items]  
– Bidding will begin on Saturday, November 2nd at 12:00. Bids will be accepted
  via a form announced at the event venue and on the New Art Guild Instagram.  
– The bidding period will run from 12:00 Saturday, November 2nd to 14:30 Monday,
  November 4th.  
– Anyone may participate in the auction, regardless of whether
  they attend the event or not.  
– Cancellations after bidding are not accepted. Please be sure to read the terms and
  conditions carefully before placing your bid.

*If an Event Attendee Wins the Auction:
– The winner will receive a notification via DM by 15:30 Monday, November 4th.  
– After the auction is finalized, please come to the venue between 16:00 and 17:00 on
  November 4th (Mon/Holiday) to complete payment and receive the item
  in a private room at the venue. Payment must be made in cash.  
– The winner will also receive priority purchase rights for one of the raffle sale items
  (either Hedorah Series 2, ZANZINGAN (Super Dimension Ver.), or
  GLASSRAIZER (Armored Trooper Ver.)), however, if you apply for both the auction and
 lottery sale, you will not be able to select the same item. 

*If a Non-Attendee Wins the Auction:
– We will contact you via DM or phone by 18:00 Monday, November 4th to confirm the
  win. Payment and delivery will proceed according to the organizer’s specified method.  
– After receiving the auction win notification, please respond by 20:00 on
  November 4th (Mon/Holiday). If no response is received, the auction will be voided,
  and the purchasing rights will be transferred to the next highest bidder selected
  by the Exhibition Committee.  
– If the winning bidder cannot be confirmed, the decision regarding the sale of the item
  will be entrusted to the Exhibition Committee.

This one-off Zanjingan piece, painted by NAGNAGNAG/Shigeru Arai, was also used
for the box art of the Zanjingan figure. All proceeds from this sale will be managed
and used by the New Art Guild to continue Shigeru Arai’s legacy and production. 

●ZANZINGAN (God of Destruction Ver./One-off) 
A prototype version that was finalized before the decision was made to proceed
with the Hyperdimensional Ver. To commemorate NAGNAGNAG’s first EXHIBITION,
this one-off piece was created in response to the 2016 humanoid color variant
produced by NAGNAGNAG/Shigeru Arai and was specially produced by Goro.

BE@RBRICK WORLD WIDE TOUR 3 in Taipei coming soon!

Starting from the birthplace of BE@RBRICK in Shibuya, Tokyo, the BE@RBRICK WORLD WIDE TOUR 3 has been travelling to various cities, adding unique works to its “GARDEN” at each location. Following Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Shanghai, the 5th stop will be coming to Taipei!

BE@RBRICK WORLD WIDE TOUR 3 in Taipei will be held at the luxury mall BELLAVITA which is known for “Cultivating Pure Blissful Rhythm of Life” from Sat., October 12th to Sun., November 10th 2024 for about 1 month.

Co-organized by Forward Fashion Group and co-curated by ASCE, the event will feature 4 new artists this time. As part of this initiative, it has been decided that the precious design of the late world-famous musician Ryuichi Sakamoto, which was exhibited at “BE@RBRICK WORLD WIDE TOUR 2”, will once again be displayed!
We are truly excited to bring this event to Taipei, a city where tradition meets modernity and diverse cultures thrives. Don’t miss it out.

7月23日（火）～ 7月28日（日） までの6日間にわたって開催された
『MEDICOM TOY EXHIBITION ʼ24』が先日無事に閉幕いたしました。
“お菓子の街” をテーマにしたポップでカラフルな空間で、新作アイテムの数々が
展示され、連日大変多くのお客様にお越しいただきました！
誠に有難うございました！

創業以来変わらぬ「自分たちが欲しいものを作る」という
秘密のレシピで作り上げられためくるめくトイのフルコースを
多くの方に体感していただけたのではないでしょうか。

本ブログでは、会場にお越しになれなかった方にも会場の雰囲気を
味わっていただければと思い、 アフターレポートとしてお届けさせていただきます。

“お菓子の街” をイメージした賑やかな会場の様子をぜひご覧ください。

会場入口は、関係者様から頂戴したお祝い花で鮮やかに彩られました。
本年もたくさんの取引先様やアーティスト様よりお花を頂戴し有難うございました。

会場入口には、今にも甘い香りがしそうな巨大な板チョコレート風の装飾で
デコレーションされた壁が並び、お客様を魅惑のお菓子の街へと誘いました。

入口から一直線に抜けると、今年のコンセプトに相応しく、
まるでビスケット生地で作られたような大きな「MEDICOM TOY」のロゴと
3000% の BE@RBRICK が皆様をお出迎え！！
そして見上げると大迫力の BE@RBRICK のバルーンが！

各アイテムの展示では、デコレーションされたブースにNEWアイテムから
アーカイヴまで魅力的なアイテムの数々が展示されました！
まずは NEWアイテムエリア！ MAFEX や UDF、そして BE@RBRICK を
中心に、 新作やこれから発売を予定しているアイテム約 600 点をお披露目しました！

ブースの中にはずらりと並んだ BE@RBRICK ！

さらに、Apple TV＋で公開が予定されるドリームワークス制作による
アニメーション『BE@RBRICK』 をご紹介！続報をぜひお楽しみに！！

続いて今後発売予定の新作を多数発表した「アクションフィギュア」コーナー！
MAFEX®、RAH などリアルなアクションフィギュアが勢ぞろい！
待望のあのキャラクターたちがお披露目されました！

多くのファンの方にご支持いただいておりますソフビ、スタチュー、UDF の新作も
一挙に展示しました！ 定番シリーズの新作から個性豊かなキャラクターまで
幅広くラインナップ！

MEDICOM TOY LIFE Entertainment からは FABRICK® や Amplifier、CERAMICK の
新作も多数展示。 さらに開催記念商品
BE@RBRICK KANSAI YAMAMOTO “TOKYO POP” 400% / 1000%
のモチーフである山本寛斎事務所所有の “TOKYO POP（レプリカ）” を
特別展示しました！

最後は恒例となっているアーカイヴ特別展示です！
今回のテーマはソフビ！
これまでに発売された商品の中から選りすぐりのアイテムを一堂に展示し、多くの
お客様にご好評いただきました。

今年はさらに特別企画として昨年 11月3日（金）に急逝したアーティスト
NAGNAGNAG アーカイヴ 展を開催。2008年8月15日に
第1作目のオリジナルソフビ「暴力原人」を発表して以来、作品を通じて
世界中に驚きと感動を与え続け、2016 年の「BE@RBRICK SERIES 32」での
取り組み以降、メディコム・トイとともに多数の作品を発表してきた
同氏の功績を偲ぶ特別展示を開催いたしました。

クレーンゲームやダーツなどのアトラクションも充実！！

ショップコーナーも連日大盛況！

巨大なバルーンの下には今年も「終日フラワー」によるお菓子をイメージした
フラワーワゴンが会場を彩り、 フォトスポットとして
多くの方々にお楽しみいただきました。

開催前日に行われた関係者向けのレセプションではお菓子の街をイメージした
「GARLAND」による、豪華なケータリングが並びました！

連日多くのお客様にお越しいただき会場が賑わいました！

毎年恒例の開催記念商品も充実のラインナップ！
今年は抽選販売のソフビもラインナップされました！！

The report of MEDICOM TOY EXHIBITION ’24

“MEDICOM TOY EXHIBITION ’24” was held for 6 days from July 23rd (Tue)
to July 28th(Sun) has ended successfully.
Under the theme “City of Sweets” we displayed many new items in a pop and colorful space and many visitors came every day!
Thank you so much for visiting us!

We believe that many visitors were able to experience the full course of fascinating toys created using the secret recipe that has remained unchanged since the company’s founding: ” Making things that we want.”

In this blog, we are sharing the after report so that those who could not come to the venue can also have a taste of event the atmosphere.

Check out the lively venue imagined as a “City of Sweets”.

The entrance was brightly decorated with congratulatory flowers received from related parties.
We would like to thank all the business partners and artists for the flowers they sent us this year.

The doorway is a corridor decorated with giant chocolate slabs that looked like they could give off a sweet aroma welcoming the guests into a fascinating “City of Sweets”.

The moment you step into the venue, you will be greeted by a large “MEDICOM TOY” logo and a 3000% BE@RBRICK that looks like it is made of biscuit dough!
And when you look up, you’ll see an impressive BE@RBRICK balloon!

A variety of attractive items from NEW ITEM to ARCHIVE were displayed in decorated booths!
First of all, the NEW ITEM area! About 600 new items and items scheduled to be released in the future, centering on MAFEX, UDF, and BE@RBRICK, were unveiled!

In the central area BE@RBRICK are lined up!

In addition, we introduced “BE@RBRICK,” an animation produced by DreamWorks that is scheduled to be released on Apple TV+ by the end of the year! Please look forward to more news!

Next there is the “Action Figure” corner, which presented many new products scheduled for release in the future! MAFEX®, RAH and other ultra realist action figures were all on display!
Long-awaited characters were unveiled!

We also exhibited new sofubi, statues, and UDF, all of which have been well received by many fans! A wide line up, going from new releases in the classic series to unique characters!

MEDICOM TOY LIFE Entertainment also exhibited many new products from FABRICK®, Amplifier, and CERAMICK. In addition, there was a special display of the “TOKYO POP (replica)” owned by Kansai Yamamoto’s office, and that served as model for the commemorative item BE@RBRICK KANSAI YAMAMOTO “TOKYO POP” 400% / 1000% !

Lastly, we have our customary special archive exhibit! This year’s theme was sofubi!
Selected items from the past releases were displayed in one place and were well received by many visitors.

This year, as a special project, we also held an archive exhibition of artist NAGNAGNAG, who passed away suddenly on Friday, November 3rd last year.
Since releasing his first original sofubi, “Violent Primitive Man,” on August 15th, 2008, he has continued to amaze and inspire people around the world with his work, and since working on “BE@RBRICK SERIES 32” in 2016, he has released many works together with MEDICOM TOY. This special exhibition commemorates his achievements.

There were also plenty of attractions, including crane games and darts!!

The shop corner was also a big success every day!

Under the giant lantern, a flower wagon was set up by “All Day Flower”. The decoration looked like a candy bar, which was enjoyed by many as a photo spot.

The related parties held the day before the event featured a lavish catering menu by “GARLAND”, inspired by the town of sweets!

The venue was crowded with visitors every day!

There was a full lineup of merchandise to commemorate the annual event! This year, there was also a lineup of sofubi for sale by lottery!!

The “BE@RBRICK donation”, which received cooperation from many people last year,
was held again this year. Thank you very much for all your support!

On August 1st, the donations, a total amount of 203,304 yen, have been entrusted to Peace Winds Japan, a non-profit organization working to support animals in the areas affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake.
