「MEDICOM TOY TOKYO (メディコム・トイ トーキョー)」が、
2025年8月23日(土)、東京都渋谷区宇田川町の
「project 1/6［1/6計画］」跡地に遂にオープンいたします。
1996年のオープン以来、“欲しい！”という衝動をカタチにしてきた「project 1/6」の
スピリットを受け継ぎながら、「MEDICOM TOY TOKYO」は“トイを問い続ける
研究所”として、次なるフェーズへ突入します。
売場面積を約25％拡大し、より開放的になった店内の中央には、
全長約8メートルの巨大な“実験台”を設置。
従来のアンテナショップの枠に止まらず、実験的なプロダクトやアイデア、
そして東京のリアルな空気から生まれる化学反応を形づくる開かれたラボを目指していきます。
“トイ”が“問い”を生み、“問い”が“トイ”を生み続ける「MEDICOM TOY TOKYO」の

MEDICOM TOY TOKYO Grand Opening on Saturday, August 23!
The new directly managed store by MEDICOM TOY, “MEDICOM TOY TOKYO”, will finally open on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the site of the former project 1/6 in Udagawacho, Shibuya, Tokyo.
Inheriting the spirit of project 1/6, which since its opening in 1996 has been about giving form to that “I want this!” impulse, MEDICOM TOY TOKYO now enters a new phase as a research lab that continues to explore the Toi — a Japanese homophone for the word “question” — of what a toy can truly be.
With the sales floor expanded by approximately 25% and a more open atmosphere, the centerpiece of the store is now a massive 8-meter-long “experiment table.” Going beyond the role of a conventional brand outpost, we aim to create an open laboratory where experimental products, bold ideas, and Tokyo’s raw energy intersect to spark creative chemical reactions.
At MEDICOM TOY TOKYO, every toy gives rise to a question (Toi), and every question gives birth to a new toy.
